    SM00SH! DEMO V.3! Empty SM00SH! DEMO V.3!

    SM00SH! V.3
In the game SM00SH! you do various things. It is an overhead game that will soon have more features. In it you squish bugs. It's not as easy as it sounds though. Each bug has a certain, but carefully laid out, AI. To complete each level you have to kill each and every bug on your check list. But for each level you have time. It you run out, your yard has overpopulated and you get a gameover. To make things easier you have a mini-map to help keep track of things. As you progress farther into the game, more strategy is needed. Population becomes hard to control, and there's a food chain involved.

    Story:
You are a retired boxer. After a couple years you lose pratically all your money, get lazy, fat, and have no point in life. Then, before you know it there's an infestation around your house. You don't have enough money to hire an exterminator, let alone buy equipment for yourself. So you take out ol' Mr.Boxy......

    Sounds and music:
There's sounds for pratically everything: Making nests, making ant hills, digging holes, 5 different gore squishing effects, 1 skeletal breaking effect, and much more. There is no music while you play. There's a soundscape, 2 in fact. 1 for the front yard and 1 for the backyard. The backyard is dirty and nasty, mainly dead grass, while the front yard is uneven, healthy lookin' grass. The soundscapes loop well, and are realistic. Helps pull you into the world of the game. Of course there's music in the game too. NO MUSIC WERE MADE BY L33T 5K00L PRODUCTIONS. SOUND EFFECTS WERE (MOST).

    Graphics:
The graphics are excellent and superb, they have nice smooth animations and are exactly how they are supposed to be. Some even have somewhat of a 3-D perspective to them.

    Particles:
There's many particle effects, for digging, ant hill creating, punching, and more! Cannot be turned off at the moment....The only BASIC GM effect used at the moment is the cloud one, that will be replaced soon, possibly because it looks unproffessional. But the clouds do make a nice effect somewhat.

Please rate/review. Comment as well. BTW: I really want honest ratings, just don't rate it bad cuz' it's not finished, or I havnt added this or that. Rate it on what it does have and stuff. BTW: There currently is no cutscenes, they will be added later. This is a pretty big project as a matter of fact.

Also there is one cheat for this game, I really don't want to reveal it though, it skips levels, it's mainly in there for debug testing, I might reveal it later.

Please watch the credits, I think they're pretty good, and I don't want any complaints about what owns what. Its all in the credits, enough said.

    NEW FEATURES SINCE V.2:
    Credits!
    2 new levels!
A whole new enemy with strategic AI!
    Improved sounds!
    Food Chain!
    Impossible to get negetive Worms!
The 1st boss is not glitchy!

Caterpillars: Pretty cute actually. The squirm around, take pauses and live happily. They're pretty slow. When attempted to be squished they try to squirm away as fast as possible.

Worms: Annoying little fellas'. They dig holes a lot, and sometimes even narrowly escape through a hole when attempted to be squished. When they dig a hole, they pop up in a whole somewhere else. Normally close by. Other than that these worms are easy to kill. They arn't very fast of course. Also, just like in the real world, when you kill em' they split into alive pieces that you can kill. You don't have to, but it's just fun.

Spiders: Very hard to control. This suckers are huge and creepy. When killed you can even see all 8 of their legs twitching...These guys are fast and when attempted to squish they run even faster. Also, randomly they make little spider nests. Eventually after about 8-10 seconds eggs appear. You can squish them. These nests will be shown on the minimap, but the eggs are not. After about another 12-14 seconds the eggs hatch into baby spiders, which are in more detail below.

Baby Spiders: These guys arn't fun. They're fast (Very fast) and small. When attempted to be squished they go almost twice as fast. The worst part is that they never stop moving for a second. Ya' think that's hard eh? They also don't show up on the mini-map. You don't need to kill them to finish the level though. But after a little while (not long) they grow up into a normal spider, and that adds to your checklist.

Tarantula: Only will be seen once in the game. It's the 1st boss (there's one every 5 levels). He has 15 hits and bites you everytime. Yep, when you squish him, he face's you, bites you, bleeds, you shake your hand off, and he runs like hell. Sometimes he even will knock you off. But normally when not scared he doesnt go very far.

Ants: These are strategic. And where the food chain comes in. These guys are tricky. VERY RARELY they make ant hills. Ant hills are devastating. Between 25-45 seconds (randomly) they "erupt". When that happens 25 ants burst out and make matters worse. But the good thing is the ant hill won't erupt again once it already has done so. The ant hills do show up on the mini-map BTW. When they are built they make the same sound effect the worms do when the dig a hole. the last thing ants do is crap eggs. They stop, push, and they shoot goely (If that's a word) out. They slide and turn and "pulse". It's best to squish them, or SM00SH them for this matter. After a little while they will hatch into pupils, explained more below. Eggs are not shown on mini-map. BTW: These guys go twice as fast when attempted to be squished.

Pupils: These guys are easy, they come out of their eggs and leave their gooey shells behind. These fella's are cute and are a lot like the caterpillar. They squirm like em' too. These guys are slower than caterpillars though. Another important note is that they never stop moving like the baby spiders, but these guys take a lot longer to grow up than the spiders, cuz' this is 5 eggs at a time here (sometimes 3 or 4, it's random). Also these guys do not show up on the mini-map. And just like baby spiders, you do not need to kill them to complete the level. But you do when they grow up.

Food Chain: Okay: Spiders eat ants. Ants eat worms, and naturally come back for the squirming pieces. But all the AI have a variable of hunger and can only eat so much, so sometimes they stay away from food and don't eat it. So if the ant that killed the prey doesnt want the food, the second closest ant gets the food, and sometimes the hunger is low for the ant because they have a lot of energy still, or it's too much for them, so it moves on to the 3rd closest and so forth. Spiders also eat ant eggs, not pupils. Eggs do not fill spiders up much. Ants eat spider eggs, fills them up not very much. That's about it.

REMEMBER: Don't forget the food chain, cuz' it's important for the harder levels (The backyard). Levels 1-5 are pretty darn easy, but the difficulty changes drastically from barely using any strategy (well maybe some for the spiders and tarantula) to a lot of it.

Also don't forget about the most deadly order. It's better to take out the ones that over populate easily first before the rest.

3 new levels including a boss level!

    And designed the graphics XD

Except for the L33T 5K00L banner and the SM00SH! logo...

Plus you programmed that with only 3-4 days of training in learning GML, but after that I stopped teaching you out of nowhere... O.o
