Video Games Make Kid Violent?

i want to hear from everyone!

me personally dont think it make kids violent

No, just the ones who have trouble distinguishing reality from fiction.

OH LOOK AT ME IM GONNA GET A GUN AND GET 5 STARS LIKE I CAN ON GRAND THEFT AUTO, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

No stuff like that comes from kids who can't distinguish reality from fictionality, kids who shouldn't be playing video games.

I don't think it makes (most) kids violent, maybe picks up tactics but not violent. Maybe we should turn to some of these useless as hell parents and think about it.

I dosent make me violent

only kids that seperate realality from fiction (like Wyverix said)

i think if parents dont set a good example for their kids...then dont expect their kids to be good...

btw..tactics doesnt come from games...they r just fictional...they dont work.

By tactics I meant go to an alley and beat someone with a golf club like you would on GTA.

Parents need to set examples like you said.

Parents are just lazy and don't want the kid to bother them so they go ahead and allow them whatever they want.

well thats kinda hard though, i dont think they'll stop until u get them the things they want..

Or until the parent lays some discipline. You restrict them or some other form of punishment, kids learn (Self-experience).

the problem is..maybe the parents "love" their child 2 much or they dont no how to do it

yeah i agree..

But what i think is that videogames dont make kids violent. They put these thoughts in their head, the "bak" of their head. And they dont purposely dont think of these tatics. Your brain takes it in as real, strong tatics of deffense. They apply it to ur personality and change it. You wouldnt notice...its not like beating people with golf clubes, but a little more aggresive. Taht's all. Trust meh, personal expierience

this also makes the game more addictive, and during school tahts all that they think about, getting home and playing it right away. So the games on their mind all day, making them nmore confident and such. Thus leading to fights, and dangerous things.

It doesn't make me violent....... sort of...... not really! hehe!

But surprinsingly soem 17 year olds arnt even reayd for most of them..
